The benefits of exercise are not only well documented, but known by nearly everyone.  However, many of us haven’t taken the lesson that we learned and turned it into a consistent habit.

Some of the benefits of exercise include, it:

  • Helps to control weight
  • Combats health conditions and diseases
  • Improves mood
  • Boosts energy
  • Improves sleep
  • Is fun and can be social

All of these reasons to exercise, but only 22.9% of Americans get enough exercise, according to the CDC.

Just remember, it need not be complicated, super difficult, nor require lots of time.  Just 30 minutes per day five days per week is a fantastic start.  Try just getting out and taking a brisk walk.
