Cultivating a Sense of Awe and Wonder

As children, awe and wonder come easily.  The world is all brand new.  However, humans are pattern recognition machines.  We interpret everything through the lens of our experience.  Unfortunately, that tends to make most things a bit less magical. 

I am working through a process of stripping away the pattern recognition superpowers of my brain, so that I can see things fresh.  It is about embracing a beginner’s mindset and seeing the beauty all around me.
