My previous articles on awe focused mostly on nature.
However, I have been doing more reflection and now feel that I over indexed on nature. There is so much awe that we humans cause for one another:
- A heroic act of bravery
- The tenderness of a mother’s love for her child
- The transcendence of music that stirs your soul
- A painting masterpiece
- A magnificence of architecture
- The scene in a movie that strikes every emotional chord
- Watching an infant discover the world
I am going to lean into mindfully noticing the awe that we create for one another. Join me… it is incredible!
