Habit Change Using Time and Place

Wisely chosen habits are incredibly important to a well lived life.  The hard part is getting good habits firmly integrated into your life.  There are multiple ways to establish good habits, but one solid way to establish a good habit is to use time and location as queues.

  • I will exercise at 5:30 at the gym.
  • I will eat a salad today at noon at the restaurant for lunch.
  • I will meditate at 6:00 in my office.
  • I will floss my teeth at 9:30 at my bathroom sink.

Given the importance of good habits, it is advisable to use all tools for success.  This simple technique can make a big difference.  Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Just my opinion.  What do you think?  Let me know in the comments.
