Read Daily

In order to contribute with credibility, it is crucially important to continue to grow your skills and knowledge over your lifetime.  In other words, be a lifelong learner.  Never assume that today’s knowledge and skills will be sufficient for tomorrow’s challenges.

One of the most important habits of lifelong learners is reading.  Books have a unique place in developing knowledge.  And yet, 42% of college graduates never read another book after graduation.  Only 27% of the adult US population has read at least one book in the past 12 months.

Distinguish yourself by overcoming the inertia that might keep you from this incredibly valuable habit.  Decide, right now, to establish the habit of reading daily.
