There is a classic struggle that plagues the leaders in a business: Working on the business versus working in the business.
The key is clearly balance. However, it is a classic pendulum problem; Therefore, you will always be wrong. When you feel that you are too far on one side, then set out to pull the pendulum back in the other direction. Accept that you will overcorrect, get it done and the cycle begins again.
The only danger is in not reacting at all to correct the course.
